We have a legalese-version of this in our User Agreement, but here’s what it boils down to: We do not feel we have the right to disclose your personal information, or the contents of your files, to anyone.

That said, some slippage is necessary. Consider email, for instance. It may or may not contain information regarding your account or files. It travels over the interwebz and is thus not wholly under our control. However, we will not willingly give out your email address, and you may opt out of email updates (not recommended if you care about outages).

We do collect aggregate information, which we may publish or otherwise make available to strategic partners or to the public.

We will release your personal data only after receiving a court order, and perhaps not even then, depending on our mood. Our hearts are relatively pure, and a good fight can be fun.
